Mr. Ogunkeye, who is the founding and principal partner of the Firm, is an experienced and seasoned litigator with over 36 years practice. He has over the years acquired an in-depth knowledge, skills and expertise particularly in the areas of focus of his practice including litigation or arbitration arising therefrom.
His areas of legal expertise are highly related to the needs of our corporate clients. As a result of Mr. Ogunkeye’s legal repertoire, our clients have found the Firm a one-stop shop for their legal needs.
He is a tactful advocate who has led different teams of counsel in the Firm to represent clients in major contentious cases in tribunals, State and Federal High Courts and up to the Supreme Court. In this capacity, he has argued and won several high profile cases for the Firm’s clients.
Among several court judgments obtained by Mr. Ogunkeye in favour of our clients are notably several product liability cases.
He has also carved a niche for himself as an intellectual property law practitioner, including copyright, trademark and patents. The Firm has helped register several prominent trademarks including the current NBC Limited trademark.
As a Tax Practitioner, our clients have relied on Mr. Ogunkeye’s expertise in tax matters especially to navigate through the current complex system created as a result of the government drive to increase internally generated revenue through any avenue of taxation.
In 2013, Mr. Ogunkeye successfully obtained court judgment restraining the Oyo State Government from collecting any levy or charge from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria pursuant to the Land Use Charge Law, 2012 which was declared inconsistent with the provisions of 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Taxes and Levies (Approved List for Collection) Act.
He is also an Arbitrator who has handled several arbitral proceedings.
He is also a hardball negotiator who has been known to obtain best bargain in negotiations in clients’ favour.
Mr. Ogunkeye is also a Notary Public.

Mrs. Ogunkeye has over 30 years post-call experience as a legal practitioner and has keen knowledge of law of the various areas of her practice focus.
On one hand, she is a mediator who will opt for an amicable settlement of disputes at less cost and time saving advantage to client. On the other hand, she is a passionate advocate who brings her vast knowledge and experience to bear in the courtroom either to pursue our clients’ claim or staunchly defend our clients in litigations in the different levels of court.
She has also in conjunction with the principal partner and independently successfully prosecuted several product liability cases.
Notably, she leads the Firm’s different teams of counsel in most of the litigations of our corporate clients and has garnered high proficiency in litigations arising from employment and labour law; insurance law, particularly personal injury cases; banking law, including debt recovery; tort, including defamation; cases arising from contracts and consumer claims.
As the Managing Partner, she is a seasoned administrator who also oversees our clients’ case management.
To illustrate her unparalleled skill in efficiently managing our corporate clients’ cases and responding to their needs with utmost attention and the dispatch they require, Mrs. Ogunkeye timeously quelled an attempt by the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) to ground production activities and shut down NBC Limited’s Asejire Plant, Ibadan sometime in 2015. The Firm successfully obtained court judgment which restrained NIWA from shutting down the Plant and from restricting NBC Limited from sourcing water for their production from the Asejire Dam.

As a Senior Associate in the Firm, Idowu has honed his skills representing the Firm’s clients both in and outside the courtroom in the areas of his practice focus.
His uncanny attention to details and ability to simplify complex legal issues particularly place him in the right position to handle clients’ needs arising from contracts. He is highly skillful in contract drafting and he is the Firm’s leading counsel in issues arising from different forms of transaction.
He supports the Managing Partner in actively prosecuting our corporate clients’ litigation matters, particularly debt recovery cases.
Idowu also has a good grasp of criminal law litigation and matters arising from employment and labour law as a result of his practice experience and post-graduate study in those areas.

Ben is adept in commercial practice, particularly in litigations arising therefrom and has successfully handled many cases for the Firm’s clients in that area. He also assists the Partners in prosecuting land matters and our corporate clients’ litigation matters, particularly debt recovery and personal injury cases. Having previously worked with the Legal Department of the Nigerian Police Force, Ben is experienced in criminal law litigation in Magistrates’ Court, High Courts and Federal High Courts. He also handles our clients’ representation with law enforcement authorities such as the Police, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, etc. Ben is particularly a passionate litigator, a forceful advocate who is very reliable in handling our clients’ contentious matters.
